When the Heart Feels Heavy emerged after the loss of my mother. It explores grief as love searching for a place to remain. In these works, the heart does not fall beneath its weight; it expands. Through watercolor, exposed forms and intimate gestures, the series reflects the space we carry for those who are no longer physically present, and the way love continues to live within us.
