  Sibu De Armas

Sibu De Armas is a Uruguayan-Spanish multidisciplinary artist, born in Uruguay, deeply shaped by the Canary Islands, and currently based in California. Self-taught, she works primarily in watercolor, acrylic and batik, weaving together painting, writing, music and scenography.

Rooted in personal experience, her work explores vulnerability, grief, desire, connection and transformation through the body, the heart and recurring symbolic figures. After years living and creating in Gran Canaria, Ibiza and Mallorca, she presented Mi sangrado corazón at an international art fair held at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris in 2018 and will return in October 2026 with works from HE(ART).
